Located within The St. Regis Jakarta at Rajawali Place, this polished cocktail lounge channels the heritage of New York’s iconic King Cole Bar while infusing Indonesian style and sophistication. Designed by Alexandra Champalimaud with a striking trumpet-chandelier and a mural by Eddy Susanto that narrates Indonesia’s music history, its atmosphere is equal parts theatrical and intimate. The cocktail program—dubbed “New York 2.0”—reimagines classic mixes with local twists. Highlights include the Cotton Club (Jackfruit-infused bourbon), Weisse Garden (Irish coffee style with coffee porter and cacao bitters), and the Batavia Mary (Bloody Mary with sambal oelek). The legendary Violet Hour ritual takes place each evening, offering complimentary martinis from a rolling cart as dusk turns the sky violet. From Monday to Saturday (8 pm–1 am), the Rapture Band—a rotating international jazz ensemble led by female vocalists—performs live, adding warmth and rhythm to the refined ambiance. The venue also boasts an award-winning wine vault, extensive whisky collection, and private tasting rooms, making it an ideal spot for sophisticated connoisseurs.
