Terrible Baby sits perched on the 4th floor of Eaton HK (4/F, 380 Nathan Road, Jordan), and from the moment you ascend the neon-lit escalator you sense youâre stepping into a curated evening experience. The dĂ©cor marries mid-century lounge chic with tropical fantasĂa: comfy sofas, open terrace space, lush glimpses of greenery and a full âMusic Roomâ for live sets and DJs. Itâs playful but sophisticatedâpart hotel theatre, part cocktail laboratory. Speaking of drinks: the bar distinguishes itself with bold, creative cocktails rather than safe classics. The summer menu from mixologist Axel Gonzalez features inventive items such as âThyme for Bukoâ (thyme-infused gin, house-aged Campari in young coconut, vermouth & habanero bitters) and âThe Lonely Appleâ (bourbon, shiso & green apple liqueurs, yuzu, apple garnish). What stands out is not just the flavour but the concept: seasonal Asian ingredients, vibrant garnishes, and a sense of theatre. In terms of ambiance, the terrace is a strong drawâespecially in the early evening when the space catches daylight, blends into city noise and then transitions into night. Reviews highlight it as one of the âgood rooftop / terraceâ-style bars even though itâs internally located in a hotel complex. The crowd fluctuates from after-work drinks to later DJ-led nights, so you can start relaxed and end energised. Service is generally well-rated though there are occasional notes about busy evenings and some pressure on table turnover. But thatâs perhaps part of its dual identity: part cocktail lounge, part hotel bar with an event-scene edge.
