The Best Aesthetic Bars in Hong Kong

Dive into a spell-binding underground wonderland on Hollywood Road: vintage swing meets industrial fantasy at The Iron Fairies, where cocktails are theatrical, live music is soulful, and the décor is pure enchantment.

Slip behind the literal green door on Wellington Street into a dreamy, underground “cistern”-style bar — whimsical cocktails named after women, moody light, plush booths, and hidden charm in the heart of Central.

Hidden behind a hatch-like door in Central, Salon No. 10 is an intimate, artsy member’s salon with curved, cave‑like interiors, jazzy nights, and eclectic creative curation—where Hong Kong’s cultural crowd converges in style.

Step into The Birdcage on Knutsford Terrace—an intimate, kitschy 1940s Shanghai–inspired lounge, where lacquered wood, red-hued lighting, and real birdcages (and even a squawking bird!) set the scene for cocktails with character.

Enter through the “toilet” door, spin your seat, and sip reinvented Prohibition-era cocktails — Lockdown is Hong Kong’s cheeky tribute to pandemic nights, hidden in Central’s heart.
