Tucked beneath The Barcelona EDITION hotel, Punch Room is a stylish, speakeasy‑inspired bar that elevates the traditional punch bowl into an art form. Guests descend a striking white marble spiral staircase into a 114 sqm lounge adorned with leather armchairs, green velvet sofas, oak‑panelled walls, a black granite fireplace, and a Castilian‑style pool table with golden cloth—all framed by local photography by Andrea Torres. Centered on shared punch bowls served in vintage silver ware, the bar cleverly highlights Catalan and Spanish ingredients alongside spirits and spices from around the world. The creative menu balances global inspiration and local authenticity, featuring both signature punches and refined classic cocktails like G&Ts and negronis, plus light bites such as olives, patatas bravas, and braised lamb brioche. Punch Room has received notable accolades: ranked in Top 500 Bars (Global 2022), shortlisted in Europe’s Best International Hotel Bar 2022, Europe’s Best New Cocktail Bar 2020, World's Best New Cocktail Bar 2019, and named among the Best Cocktail Bars in Spain & Portugal. Open nightly from 19:00 to 02:30 (with slightly earlier closing on Wednesdays), it draws a fashionable crowd of hotel guests and locals seeking a relaxed yet elegant evening out. With seating limited and a casual capacity for around 20 lounge guests plus space for up to 60 reception-style, reservations are recommended . Punch Room offers an intimate experience—think private club meets modern craft cocktail lounge—perfect for enjoying inventive punches, friendly conversation, a game of pool, and quiet luxury.
