Dry Wave Cocktail Studio
On the 2nd floor of SODALITY, tucked into Soi Thonglor 13, sits Dry Wave Cocktail Studio — a refined, artful bar where every sip tells a story of duality. Founded by Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana, the venue opened in early 2024 and quickly earned recognition (including the Campari One To Watch Award 2024) for its bold concept and execution. The core concept is “Super Classics”: take two iconic cocktails from different eras, weave their essences together, and present a new creation that honors both. Design is intentionally organic. The walls carry wave motifs; sand-toned textures and dry materials reference the “dry wave” idea. The bar area is marble, fluid in shape, encouraging engagement. An alfresco terrace space with a tree bleeds natural elements into the lounge. The menu is renewed in editions (Vol. 2 is their latest) with around a dozen cocktails, each crafted with care. They blend spirits, infusions, botanical elements, smoke, and texture to layer effects across aroma, flavor, and mouthfeel. Their philosophy is that a drink should ripple, not hit all at once. In just over a year, Dry Wave vaulted into acclaim: Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 ranks it #5 and awarded it the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award. It also earned Thailand’s Best Bar in local awards, and accolades like Best Bartender / Best Bar Team. The music, lighting, and pacing are calibrated to match the fluid ethos — not crowded or loud, but energetic in waves. The environment is intimate but alive, ideal for cocktail purists and curious drinkers alike.
