Victor Audio Bar
In the heart of Palermo Soho lies Victor Audio Bar, a new concept born from the minds behind Tres Monos and Niño Gordo. This is not your typical cocktail bar: it’s a listening bar — a place where sound is as central as spirit and glass. Inspired by the golden age of audio (think RCA Victor heritage), Victor emphasizes analog fidelity, vinyl, and quiet immersion. The interior shows mid-century modern cues: warm woods, leather seating, rich textures, intimate lighting. Cocktail philosophy here centers on the Martini. The bar’s menu is designed as a “liquid timeline” exploring versions across eras — from Martinez (its predecessor) through Dry, Dirty, Porn Star Martini, and more creative riffs. The focus is classic American / international cocktails, reinterpreted with local touch. Food is handled by the Niño Gordo team (Pedro Peña & Germán Sitz) — think elevated American comfort food. Dishes include oyster & raw bar, fried chicken, Rib Eye with fries, mac & cheese, and nostalgic dessert approaches. Musical programming is integral. Vinyl sets, DJ nights, analog sound systems, and even a jukebox with headphones allow individual guests to pick and listen without disrupting the room. The system is designed for high fidelity, blending analog and digital techniques for immersive listening. Victor opened around February 2025. Though it is a bar foremost, the experience is holistic: music, drink, food, design — each part reinforces the others.
