Tucked into a 1929 railroad warehouse in Austin’s historic Warehouse District, The Roosevelt Room is an award‑winning, art‑deco‑inflected cocktail bar and event venue that masters the art of hospitality. Since its opening in June 2015, it’s been championed for its warm, family‑oriented vibe, sophisticated cocktail craftsmanship, and memorable bar experience brought to life by expert bartenders. Inside, you’ll find two distinct yet seamless spaces: a main dining bar downstairs and a mezzanine above. The mezzanine features its own full bar, pub‑style seating, projection system, and balcony view—perfect for either intimate nights or small celebrations. The glow of vintage design, leather booths, and a touch of exclusivity give it a modern‑speakeasy atmosphere, reminiscent of the golden age of cocktails. The cocktail program offers a sweeping range—from 10 creative house creations and a half‑century of reimagined classics to six signature "classic creations," alongside rotating seasonal “Featured Indulgences” emphasizing local, fresh ingredients. The downstairs seated dining experience ensures table service and attentive guidance from well‑versed bartenders, ideal for connoisseurs and curious newcomers alike. During Happy Hour (daily until 6 pm), enjoy perks like $12 classic cocktails, $2 off wine by the glass or large plates, $1 off beers and small bites, plus 20% off wine bottles. The kitchen serves gourmet bar food—small plates, large fare, and decadent desserts—perfect for pairing alongside drinks. If you're hosting a larger gathering or event, the mezzanine (750 sq ft) holds up to 60 guests and is available for private bookings; the entire venue spans approximately 3,750 sq ft. With its refined yet inviting environment, The Roosevelt Room strikes a lovely balance: upscale but never pretentious, approachable yet thoroughly elevated.
