Sky Lounge Savoy

Perched on the 9th floor of the prestigious SAVOY Hotel Köln, the Sky Lounge is a rooftop sanctuary in the heart of Cologne’s Altstadt-Nord. The 350 m² wooden-deck terrace opens to sweeping 360° views over the city skyline and the iconic Cologne Cathedral. The design plays between modern comfort and minimalist luxury: lounge sofas, dining tables, urban art and greenery set the scene for both relaxed sundowners and elevated after-hours. The venue opens only during favourable weather (from approx. 20 °C and above) ensuring the rooftop experience truly feels like summer in the sky. From Sunday to Wednesday you’ll find a bistro menu featuring crispy tarte flambée from noon until roughly 22:45. From Thursday to Saturday the kitchen shifts to grill and barbecue specials — perfect for a group dinner with a view. Drinks are a highlight: handcrafted cocktails, sparkling wine, premium spirits and chilled beers feature prominently (with the bar staying open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). Located on Turiner Strasse 9, just a short walk from Cologne’s main station and central attractions, the Sky Lounge is accessible to both hotel guests and outside visitors (reservations recommended). While the entry isn’t tucked away as a secret bar, its rooftop-exclusivity and view make it feel special.
