Located in Berlin’s Mitte district, BrewDog Berlin Mitte is the German outpost of the Scottish craft brewer’s bar & restaurant chain. Opened in 2016, this venue brings BrewDog’s signature aesthetic to Berlin: industrial / warehouse touches, exposed brick, metal fixtures, wood accents, and a relaxed yet lively ambiance. Inside, the focal point is the tap wall — 28 taps pouring a mix of BrewDog’s own brews, local German / European guest beers, and rotating craft specials. Beyond taps, there’s a large bottle & can selection (BottleDog shelf) offering many rarities and international styles. To pair with beer, the menu leans toward hearty bar fare: pizzas, burgers, wings, salads, and share plates. Many dishes are vegan or vegetarian friendly; BrewDog emphasizes that the “headliner beer menu is vegan too.” During certain hours, they run food promotions — e.g. lunch combos. BrewDog’s philosophy of craft + community is evident in the space. Long communal tables sit alongside more intimate corners; there is outdoor seating for breezy summer evenings. Berlin’s beer culture is deeply rooted, so BrewDog here operates in a discerning environment: locals expect quality, freshness, and good curation. In addition to the Mitte branch, Berlin also hosts: BrewDog Berlin Friedrichshain at Frankfurter Tor 7, 10243. It features 28 taps and also serves burgers, wings, and arcade / pinball elements. BrewDog DogTap Berlin, located in Mariendorf (Im Marienpark 23, 12107), formerly the Stone Brewing / gasworks site. Here, BrewDog combines brewery, taproom, beer garden, events, and brewery installations. The acquisition of the Stone Brewing Mariendorf facility allowed BrewDog to operate a European brewery + taproom combo in Berlin. Overall, BrewDog Berlin is more than a “bar” — it’s a hub for craft beer exploration, beer education (beer school events), community, and full-scale brewery + bar experience.
