The Best Historical Bars in Barcelona

Step into Barcelona’s oldest absinthe bar—Bar Marsella, where dusty mirrors, cracked ceilings, and century-old absinthe rituals keep the city’s bohemian spirit alive since 1820.

Step into Boadas Cocktails — Barcelona’s iconic 1933 cocktail bar just off La Rambla, where tuxedo-clad bartenders throw martinis and history flows in every glass.

Swanky yet playful: Banker’s Bar transforms an old bank vault into a stylish lounge. Sip creative cocktails beneath a ceiling of real safe deposit boxes and unwind in a refined Barcelona sanctuary.

Step into La Confiteria, a preserved modernist gem in El Raval. Once a pastry shop since 1912, it now shines as a warm, wood‑and‑mirror cocktail lounge where vintage charm meets sleek, discreet mixology.
