TU Bar is the ultimate rooftop destination for refined drinks and unobstructed ocean views on the tip of Cape Panwa in Phuket. Design-wise, TU features amphitheatre-style seating that overlooks the Andaman Sea, lush tropical landscaping, minimalist modern furnishings and an open-air layout designed to maximise the dramatic blues and golds of the sunset. According to the resort, TU was “thoughtfully designed with dream weddings in mind… a platform in the clouds”. When you arrive (typically from the 17:00 peak onwards), you’re greeted by panoramic ocean views, comfortable lounge seating, and a bar offering signature cocktails, premium spirits, and champagne. The menu mixes timeless classics (Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Martini) with elevated twists and nods to the location—expect fresh tropical fruits, local herbs, and premium imports. Service is polished and anticipates the luxury setting. TU is part of a high-end resort so the ambience is upscale: dress smart-casual, enjoy cocktail hour with the sea breeze; many guests go for the photo-op as much as the drink. Some packages bundle finger foods with drinks for the sunset session. Note that there are minimum spend requirements for non-hotel guests, especially during prime time. For example, one listing mentions a mandatory THB 1,500 net per person as a minimum spend for non-in-house guests.
